Gegründet 2019 in Stuttgart von Jay-G, drums (Shining, Sharon), Elkie Gee, vocals (Ampyre, Antares) und Sorin Badin, einem bekannten rumänischen Gitarristen (Cardinal, Samsara, Crystal Maze) unter dem Namen Front Row Warriors, komplettierte man die Formation 2020 mit Richie Seibel, Keyboard, (Lanfear, Ivanhoe, Them) und Timo Michels, Bass, (5th Season, Pump). Im Sommer des Jahres 2022 stieß Gitarrist Stef Binnig-Gollub (Septagon) zur Band.
Die Band hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, das Publikum auf eine musikalische Reise durch die Zeit des Hardrock und Metal der vergangenen 30 Jahre mitzunehmen und catchy Hooks die sofort zum Mitsingen anregen, kreiert. Das Ganze besticht durch die herausragende Gitarren- und Keyboardarbeit und den außergewöhnlichen Leadgesang. Jedes Bandmitglied steht stellvertretend für einen der vielen Stile und Einflüsse welche die Musik der Front Row Warriors ausmacht.
Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen, so wurde die Band im Jahr 2021 vom Deutschen Rock- und Popmusiker Verband zur besten Hard-Rock Band Deutschlands gekürt. Die gelungene Mischung aus AOR, kernigem, an die 80er und 90er Jahre angelehnten Hardrock und flotte Up-Tempo-Nummern sowie episch angehauchte Balladen, findet sich nun auf dem heiß erwarteten Debüt unter dem Namen “Wheel Of Fortune” wieder, welches von Michael Bormann produziert, von Achim Köhler co-produziert und gemischt wurde. Das Mastering wurde von Patrick W. Engel übernommen.
Als Special Guest brilliert der US- amerikanische Sänger Todd Michael Hall (Jack Starr ́s Burning Starr, Riot V) in einem Duett. Sängerin Elkie wurde vom Deutschen Rock- und Popmusiker Verband mit dem Song “Dystopian Time” zur besten Hard-Rock-Sängerin 2022 gewählt.
Die Band wurde von ROAR Records unter Vertrag genommen, das Debüt erscheint am 9.6.2023 als Digipack und Vinyl, ebenso im Downloadformat. Mit dem Cover Artwork wurde der renommierte Book und Cover-Illustrator Uwe Jarling beauftragt.
Founded in 2019 in Stuttgart by Jay-G, drums (Shining, Sharon), Elkie Gee, vocals, (Ampyre, Antares), and Sorin Badin, a well known Romanian guitarist (Cardinal, Samsara, Crystal Maze) under the name Front Row Warriors and reached its current formation 2020 with the addition of Richie Seibel, keyboards, (Lanfear, Ivanhoe, Them) and Timo Michels, bass, (5th Season, Pump). In summer 2022 guitarist Stef Binnig-Gollub (Septagon) joined the band.
The band’s goal is to take the audience on a musical journey through the era of Hardrock and Metal of the past 30 years and to create catchy hooklines with outstanding guitar and keyboard work, surrounded by impressive lead vocals. Each band member represents one of the various styles and influences that make up the sound of the Front Row Warriors.
The result is impressive, so in 2021 the band was chosen as “Germany’s Best Hardrock Act” by the German Rock and Pop Musicians Association. The successful mixture of AOR, driven 80s and 90s-inspired hard rock and snappy up-tempo numbers as well as epic ballads, can now be found on the hotly anticipated debut under the name “Wheel Of Fortune”, which was produced by Michael Bormann, co-produced / mixed by Achim Köhler and mastered by Patrick W. Engel.
As a very special guest the US-American singer Todd Michael Hall (J. Starr’s Burning Starr, Riot V) shines in a duet. Singer Elkie was voted the best hard rock singer of 2022 with the song “Dystopian time” by the German Rock and Pop Musicians Association.
The band signed a worldwide contract with ROAR Records and will release their debut on 09/06/2023 as digipack, vinyl and as digital download. The cover artwork was designed by book and cover artist Uwe Jarling.
